DO YOU REALLY NEED TO BUILD A MANSION BACK IN THE VILLAGE ?

This is a question that has left many people confused and unable to make a precise decision. However, the best response squarely lies in your financial goals, resolutions and dreams.

A simple stroll in your rural villages any time will make you notice a few modern mansions and beautiful bungalows newly constructed and others fenced off, a clear mark of a new home. But some of these beautiful new bungalows are always surrounded with lots of overgrown bushes that are often slashed down by the home caretaker once in a while.

This calls for the question, Do you need to build a mansion back in the village while you staying in town ?

Let's help you explore on this. First as we said, the decision squarely depends with your finan-

cial goals and maybe your yearly resolutions. In making this decision, your financial flow really

matters a lot.

First to start with, Yes, it's very ok to construct a beautiful mansion back in the village. But this has to depend on two things. Your availability and frequency back to the village and secondly, your age factor versus when and where are you planning for your retirement home. If you work a place approximately close to your village and you are somebody with a good touch of the village life, then this is the best place to start building your dream home. This means

that you are not doubling the expenditures in town and village. You have to make up your

mind where to invest more. If your family's life is 80% in the village, then this is the best place to build your home.

If you are living in town with the family and you only visit the village once or twice a year, it

would be the worst idea to pour millions of money in the village in a house you will rarely

use, especially if you are in your 20s, 30s or 40s. Why would you put all your fortunate in the village to create a name while you are struggling with rent in town ?. But if you have achieved a state of some sort of financial

freedom in life, where spending is no longer a big factor to you, then it's even more wiser to invest both in the village and in the city.

The best decision however, would be to build a simple modern house for your village visits,

then pull all your available finances and invest in town. Something that can get you monthly income or commercially convertible property. Imagine losing your job yet you are paying rent in town and you own a 5 million mansion in the village, more so on your ancestral land, how will you bail yourself out ? Can you sell it ? Can it even be used as collateral to secure a bank loan before clearing family succession

processes?

Think of personal investment too, think of the future, think of the income avenues. Actually, a village bungalow or Mansion is not a bad idea, but good to start planning some five to ten years towards your retirement age. Otherwise, you will spend your millions to construct a

beautiful house for lizards, rats, cockroaches and relatives who will enjoy visiting because they have a free palatial facility for their relaxation while you are in the city. In fact, in most cases you will be forever spending expensively on renovations and repairs especially whenever planning to travel to the villages in advance.

Houses love people, and if you aren't planning to live in the village soon, then spare that money, buy a plot in town, put up a good home

or some rentals. Something you can hold on in hard times. The ancestral land will always wait for you.
