PRECAST PANELS, THE NEW MODEL OF CONSTRUCTION.

The 21st century has come with lots of new
technologies in the building and construction industry. One of these new model of
construction is the use precast panels that
tent to substitute several other building materials like baked bricks, bush stones and
machine cut stones.

Precast panels are concrete panel tablets
than you only need to stand and proportionally join them then seal them at the joints with filler. They are already smooth surfaced therefore no need for plastering them again. Only painting will be done just as normal finish takes place.
They are cheaper than use of bricks and stones because you only need a few people to put them up in approximately 1 week for a simple bungalow house. No plastering required, only filler, scheming and painting. Assembling is quick, they are reusable and make your house easily modifiable with changing demands over time. Their use can
save you up to 40% depending on the quality of finishing that you may choose. The panels are reinforced with mesh and are very strong and durable compared to other construction materials.

The panels have hollows inside, making it very easy and fast for water and electricity piping since there is no trenches needed on the walls . The panels can also be designed
according to customer preferences. A single average panel for house construction measures 2.7 meters by 0.65 meters by 90 millimeters. And one panel will cost you an average of Ksh. 2,100 in Nairobi and Ksh. 2,500 in Kakamega. An average three bedroom house will consumer between 130 to 150 pieces of the panels. If you wish to use the panels for home fencing the 3 meters by 0.65 by 90 mm would be good for you. And a panel goes for Ksh. 2,300 in Nairobi and 3,000 in Kakamega. A 50 by 100 plot will consume an average of 120 panels.

For those interested to get the exact number
of panels that would complete the house, you
need to have the house plan and send it to
sales@squareapple.odoo.com or call the
precast experts on 0721335565/0795382244/0720451345 to get
exact quotations.

Averagely, with precast panels, the following
would be the average cost for standard
bungalows:
2 bedroom, 1.3 million
3 bedroom, 1.5 million
4 bedroom, 1.8 million

While customized mansionettes for 3 and 4
bedrooms would range between 3.2 million to
5 million.

The construction of a precast house takes av-
eragely between three to eight weeks to its
completion. The house foundation is done
normally before the precast panels start to be
laid for the walling and general completion.
