THE HOPES AWAITING KAKAMEGA TEACHING AND REFERRAL HOSPITAL.


Kakamega Teaching and referral hospital is one of the greatest and large scale projects that were launched by the county government of Kakamega with the advent of devolution upon the promulgation of the new constitution in 2010. Its one of the most beautiful and monumental projects that are set to change the facial outlook and the economic aspect of Kakamega town in the near future upon its completion.


The beautiful massive medical facility will host a number of specialized medical wards and specialized doctors and medical personnel. This is expected to increase the number of patients coming to seek medical attention through a referral system from the neighboring counties especially those seeking specialized 

medical services. Its strategic location on Kisumu Kakamega highway gives it the conducive and serene environment for the patients seeking specialized attention. This project is a great blessing to the residents of Kakamega as they are set to benefit largely through direct and indirect jobs, supplies, transport and even hospitality industry in the region. The grand opening of Kakamega Teaching and Referral Hospital will tremendously boast the economic value of this golden city and the county as a whole. 


The mega project is slowly stretching towards the finish line as the Kakamega residents bank their hopes on these mega project among others in the county.

MWALE MEDICAL AND TECHNOLOGY CITY SLOWLY SHAPING UP.

This magnificent one man show project was initially launched in the year 2014 in the remote villages of Lunza, Butere constituency, Kakamega county. This Ksh. 200 Billion project is under US sponsorship under the pioneer and stewardship of one Julius Mwale, a brother to the sitting area MP, Hon Tindi Mwale. It's located 32km from Kakamega town on Bukura-Butere Road. The medical city was majorly established as a main cancer center in West Kenya and by extension, Kenya and East Africa as a whole and has adopted "HAMPTONS" as it's main identify name for all it's departments. The project started as a false dream with lots of false prophets casting aspersions against it. But the negativity never detected Mwale, the man who had left the United States to come and convert his remote village into a medical techno and tourism city. The project has slowly mutated from nothing to something, with some of the major projects talked on paper work slowly taking shape.
